    GOA

    Goa is located on the west coast of India and overlooks the Arabian Sea. It was part of the Portuguese Empire for around 450 years and was one of the oldest and longest-standing colonies in history, until it was annexed by India in 1961. Goa is renowned for its beaches and Portuguese colonial architecture and is rich in flora and fauna. It is considered one of the world’s 21 biodiversity hotspots. In a city with a strong focus on tourism, the Neri products chosen included the most modern and contemporary shapes, however the more classic shapes were not entirely excluded, especially for historical sites such as temples. Hydra luminaires were selected to enhance a range of spaces, from the large Stadium to schools and the small bridges that cross Goa’s many waterways
