    Yadagirigutta (Hyderabad)

One of the most important Hindu temples of India, the Yadagirigutta, rises near Hyderabad. It is a place sacred to pilgrimage, the abode of Narasimha Swamy, an incarnation of Lord Vishnu. It is an imposing complex, a great terrace under construction on a hill with several temples located at cardinal points. All the buildings are in stone, carved onsite by skilful stonemasons. Access to the temple is provided by the construction of a new road which climbs to the top of the hill. For its illumination, the Tabit system has been chosen, using the customised swan-neck top, decorated with the gilded emblem of the temple
